On the 4th March the Creative Futures programme launched, bringing together a vibrant new network of creative businesses and entrepreneur to talk, network and exchange ideas.

Creative Futures partner member, Portobello Film Festival (PFF), put on an inspiring, vastly relevant and enlightening film makers convention on 29 - 30 May 2010.

April 2010 marked the beginning of what we hope will be a the start of a fruitful partnership between Creative Futures, Great Western Studios,

If you are a developing an existing business model, designing new product or service, analyzing energy consumption, designing a green base into your business, seeking new markets, wanting to improve existing performance, or looking for investment capital, the Creative Futures programme might be able to assist.

The album – the recordings business’ main unit of currency - ain’t doing too well. Faced with a double whammy of illegal downloaders and those who have adopted a pick n’ mix attitude to purchasing, there’s been much talk of the inevitable demise of this bedrock of the recordings business. Still whilst the likes of Ash and Radiohead may have turned their back on the format, there are just as many who are trying to find ways to revitalise the album.

Portobello Film Festival presents the 4th London Film Makers Convention, featuring free entry events open to all, including screenings, workshops, a Youth Programme, a 24 hour Trailer Challenge, funding workshops, Portobello Film Festival Greatest Hits 1996-2009, discussions, socialising and much much more!
